Dr. Alka Gupta believes that great health care should address all aspects of wellness, including physical, emotional, and mental health. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at George Washington University and was Medical Director and Co-founder of the Integrative Health and Wellbeing Program at New York-Presbyterian & Weill Cornell Medicine. She has returned to her roots in the DC area as Chief Medical Officer and Co-founder of Bluerock Care. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Integrative Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine.

Brenda is an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a newcomer to primary care but has over 15 years of healthcare experience. Brenda’s experience involves working in Intensive Care as well as in Endoscopy. She is an advocate for equity, empathy, and access to healthcare for all. Brenda enjoys building relationships with her patients and seeing them thrive under shared management goals.

Jessica is an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in Northern Virginia with skilled nursing facilities for the past 4 years, and she was previously an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. Jessica believes that the best outcomes are a result of in-depth conversations, proactive planning, and understanding of one's personal health and goals. She is excited to be returning to Washington, DC, and to join the Bluerock team.

Lisa is an advisor to our clinical team. She is an infectious disease doctor and former Chief Medical Officer of Medicaid, Washington DC. Her career has spanned research, clinical medicine, global health, community health education, and patient advocacy. She is the founder and CEO of Grapevine Health, a company focused specifically on community engagement and health literacy.
